| INTRODUCTORY
COURSE
The course consists of 4 weekend workshops
(4x15 hours).
Participants will learn how
to perform a complete Thai Yoga massage session and how
to assist the receiver to assume a number of different
positions. They will also learn the basic theoretical tenets
of yoga and Ayurveda. Apart from learning massage techniques,
participants will also practice yoga and meditation.
• Introduction to the history, philosophy
and theory of Thai Yoga Massage
• Foot massage
• Energy lines on the legs
• Exercises in working with one leg
• Exercises in working with both legs
• Massage of the abdomen, chest, arms, hands/palms
• Side position
• Working with the back
• Sitting position
• Face massage
• Guidelines for structuring the treatment
• Introduction to yoga and wipassana meditation
